Hiya, I have just installed Mint Linux on my desktop, and an earlier build of WL comes as one of the packages (to be downloaded) Was just wondering if any of the unofficial builds are Debian compatible, and if not, what would I need to do to make them able to run on my new OS? Thanks, Adam. Top Quote |

Hi Spiceskull, debian packages are available. Look here: http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=widelands You can try the unofficial builds too. They depend on various libraries. You can either try to install these libraries on your system or get another executable. Installing the libraries is not always an easy task because for some you need an exactly matching version. If a generic Version does not run on your system report it here I can try to compile a different version for you. Timo Top Quote |

Hi Timo, I searched for Widelands .deb files, and found this repository: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/w/widelands/ You may want to place this link on the downloads page for other users. Spice. Top Quote |
