the latest windows installers (versions older than 7826) does not let me choose the folder in which to install the game anymore. I used to install every build in a different folder for greater compatibility - especially many saved games cannot be opened with a large difference in version, and i was keeping the old 7515 because it was the last one with a stable editor. Now I can't choose anything anymore, and I can only overwrite the new version. I didn't open a bug report because it may be an intended behavior, but if that is the case, it is definitely not welcome. Top Quote |

I don't think that this is intended - could you open a bug report please? Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |

@king_of_nowhere: Could you please provide the link for the bug report? I didn't find it on launchpad. And I have the same problem when I tried to install b7992. I had b7940 as well on my hard disk, it's the same with that version. Both are the versions provided by Tino (https://widelands.8-schuss.de/). At first the setup tried to install to the existing folder but failed because it couldn't write unins000.exe. When I repeated the setup as administrator the old version was overwritten. System is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Edited: 2016-05-12, 21:45
