Topic: Create symmetrical/larger map sizes

Hi,

How can you create larger maps, as of build 18, in the map editor the maximum map size is 512 x 96. Want to create 512 x 512 for example.

Also I need an eraser tool too, placed resources wrong, and cant undo 300 steps...

When you create a new map, you should be able to choose the size. 512 x 512 is the biggest one possible and it should work.

To delete objects or decrease resource amounts, press shift when clicking.

No it iis not the biggest one, 512 x 96 the biggest one. Maybe after the game crashed and the savageae files get corrupted, changed that too?

savegame files changed the win condition from territorial lord to not set, so the editor got corrupted too?

I just created a 416x416 empty map under Linux, no problem. For me, this works both with Build18 and the current development version. Which Widelands version are you using?

This is a known bug that should be fixed in the current development version.

Of course, if Widelands crashed in the middle of performing a save, the files might be corrupted.

I switched to trunk 7519. Seems ok now. Build 18 Release is very bugged on win7/64bit.
