Don't most of the mines require smoked meat to run?. That's where the problem is.

Also.. I have to play on the 800x600 screen, And for both tribes but barbarians I am unable to control what I want to have stored in warehouses or in the HQ

It is either smoked meat, or smoked fish; one of them is good enough for all mines.

What version of WL are you running currently and on what operating system?
Windows?

You may want to try the development builds that you can get from here
For now I'd recommend the 6023 (6025 has some issues).
I dont have the Build 16 installed anymore, so I am not sure, but I think it still had the problem that the stock display was too high.
You should be able to see and use the controls for storage per warehouse and the default mininum storage for the whole economy with the 6023 version.
