Nordfriese vs kaputtnik

Won by kaputtnik

After a while we had a hang that didn't resolve itself, to we had to quit and continue from savegame. We had several more hangs later but those resolved themselves after a brief wait.

Hasi50 vs. tothxa is postponed. Time to continue is not yet decided.

What is the custom, should we post the replay so far?

We had a big fight for the North-Eastern gold deposits which Hasi50 won in the end, so now everything is about the same. I hadn't watched my stocks properly, so I ran into a big wine→marble shortage, which prevented me from finishing my colosseum and using the South-Western gold in time, even though I managed to secure it.

We were able to continue today. It turned out to be a short one, because I was able to break through Hasi50's Southern defense quickly, so he resigned.

I.e. for Hasi50 vs. tothxa the winner is tothxa

edit: The replay is in 3 parts because today we had a disconnect just after starting.

Some bugs:

  • addons can prevent other players from joining a match, even if the addons are not changing the match
  • build a military building, let it prefer heroes, fill it with rookies while you have only rookies, let it prefer rookies, kick a trained unit from a training building --> this unit will go to the military building even though rookies are preferred
  • hunter-gatherer-huts report "no fish / no meat" even if there is fish (but no hunt?), right after the worker joined the building
  • amazon foresters / woodcutters often ignore the kicking order
  • a multiplayer match with only two players and closed spot 1 will show that there is a player in spot 1 if you load it. Even though the spot 1 was closed.

I realized yesterday that there is a possible design flaw in the amazons:
liana cutters can harvest from old trees infinite amount of lianas, imho this was not intended, but to harvest each tree once. so you need growing woods to supply the liana cutters.

I think this would just make amazons even more annoying to play. The rare tree wood management is already a big pain

And one more bug: If the host is only a spectator of the game, he can still vote on the game speed.
