I've played them a bit now and I got roped into a beginners error. Turns out the rope booth needs rubber and the rubber tree cutter house needs rope.

I did escape by dismantling a stone workshop and getting back the key rubber ware. Lost that game anyways due to other mistakes of mine...

So tip for Amazons build a rope weaver's home right away!

At least build it before you spent all the rubber face-wink.png

Yes the Amazons give you just enough rope to hang yourself. ; - )

Speaking of rubber. Man that is always the one that runs out. Too much balsa and not enough rubber. It's enough to make one end up in a rubber room. ; - )

Anyone need any balsa wood? Anyone? It's free, as much as you want.

You might want to fiddle with the economy settings for balsa. Standard settings probably need some optimizing. The demand changes over the game time however, so for Amazons I find the economy settings important.

Just for info: the economy settings are not influencing the cutter but the plantation.

Thanks for the tip, did not realize I had any control over it.

Hmm, I got the game running and I don't understand it.

20 balsa, 40 ironwood, 30 rubber are the targets

269, 14, 0 are the amounts in storage respectively. I don't see how lowering balsa would help it's already 240 over!

If the numbers are like this there should be no Balsa Trees getting planted. If otherwise this is a bug and I would be happy about a savegame and or replay

Oh dear. I checked all 7 plantations carefully and several do have freshly planted balsa saplings and poles.

The plantation nearest the HQ has a sizeable "wild" population of balsa that seems to have grown by itself (outside the planters range as well as the cutters) also but I figure that's normal.

I guess I'd better send a savegame of the latest turn!
