Hi there,

a new change has been applied which affects you users: Formerly it was possible to endlessly edit his own posts. The possibility to edit his own posts is now restricted to 24 hrs. After that time editing isn't allowed anymore, except for forum moderators and admins.

So please:

  1. Think before you write
  2. Use the preview and read your post again before submitting
  3. If you feel angry, don't post! Take a sleep and may write the next day.

There were two reasons for the need of this change:

  1. Some spammers copied a post from the past and created new topics. After some time they went back, edited their post and put some advertising in it
  2. Some users had removed notes added by moderators in a disrespectful manner

I am not against this change, it is needed, but what will be with tournaments?

I guess that they will be moved to our wikipedia... @king_of_nowhere? What do you think about this topic?

Yes, the wiki is the place where it should go.

Anybody could edit the wiki articles, so how could one organize a tournament with that?

I don't see a problem here: Wiki articles have revisions and can be observed. So: Observe your article and you will be emailed if any changes were applied. If you think those changes are wrong, you can revert the changes to the last valid revision. Just some clicks... All revisions (also the ones which you think aren't valid) can be seen by everyone. This is the most transparent workflow imho.
