I'm trying to install the packages that will support building Widelands to run in a Windows environment. I've followed the instructions in the Wiki, but I'm encountering a problem when attempting to run msys.

When I attempt to run msys to do the various makes by clicking the desktop shortcut or by selecting it from the programs list, the terminal window that opens closes immediately without giving an opportunity to enter any commands.

What am I doing wrong?

I see little people.

goto run and type 'cmd'

Then run the commands there

Remember to register the path at the installation, if not add the bin of the msys to path environment variable ;)

Hope this will help.

Sam.
