I have the problem that I need bread but I have no baker left. Is there a chnace to educate and execise carriers or builders to special kind of jobs? Thanks for help! ;) Greetings

You need tools to create workers from a carrier. For a baker you need kitchen tools. If you have the necessary tools the worker is created in a warehouse.

It's completely the same for soldiers. If the soldier is needed, he will be created, as long as the required tools are in the same warehouse.

In addition to weapons and armour your economy needs to have a demand for soldiers. Such a demand is created when military buildings show a "+1" (or any other number), meaning that they are not filled to full capacity. Training facilities for soldiers also create a demand when there are not enough soldiers to fill them.


Being no programmer, I apologize for all my suggestions that imply undue workload and for other misjudgements due to lack of expertise or relevant skills.
I am on Win32, have no means to compile, and rely on prefabricated distributions (Thanks to Tino).
