I recently uploaded a map on the website here. However, as a user soon noticed, I hade forgotten about some of the port spaces when updating the map for the current version of widelands (and did not test-play with human players in the starting locations affected by this after doing the update). I fixed the issue. How can I replace the version I uploaded with the fixed one?

Updating a previous uploaded map isn't possible at the moment. There is a bug-report open for this. If your map contains strange failures we could remove the map from the website and afterwards you could upload a new map. You should rename the map prior uploading then.

or you can just upload the fixed map as a new map, with a new name like [old map name] 2.0 or something.

I have a similar problem. I tried to upload a map named "Gold Rush 1.1" from a file name "Gold Rush 1-1.wmf" but I received a message "The map file could not be processed." What can I do?

Please check also the map name in Editor options. If the problem persist, please let us know again.

File and map name are different but I still get the mentioned error message. The names only differ in version numbers, they both contain blanks, but I don't think this is a problem.

Does it help to remove the earlier map. In this case differences are only minor corrections, so it would make sense.

Just uploaded a test map and it works for me.

Could you submit the map some where (f.e. attach to this bug ) so i could download it and test the upload in my working environment?

Map uploading should work now again face-smile.png

The problem was that your map was saved with a development version > build 19. Uploading a map needs some code from widelands itself and the widelands version on the server wasn't updated since version bzr8155.

Happy map uploading face-smile.png

Thanks for attending this, Kaputtnik! - If you can, please remove the first map version (1-0) from sight as it is outdated.
