Another issue - when I save network game and load it with --loadgame - it is loaded as single player game - so first player is "lost" for my testing. Frustrating....

Well, you are the first person trying to do what you are doing. Widelands did not grow this feature due to lack of need. Why don't you add the command line option that you wish you had? We can merge this after b19 then.
