Here is a comparison of the latest models with playercolor and without playercolor.

What is your preference? Personally, I like without PC (on the botttom). The features are more distinct.

For dark-colored players (such as blue), It seems to look better without the player colors; just compare the blue to the white in the upper image. So it's probably better without player colors; if you really feel the urge for including player colors somewhere you could add a flag, but I don't think that's needed for a non-military building.

I think that playercolors are Ok. Only the roof should stay without playercolor. Then all the building will look more natural face-smile.png (who is painting the roof?!)

I Prefer without pc too, but mainly because it was a little excessive on the original models. A sprinkle of player colors will help the player to recognize which building belongs to whom. Maybe just the first bar on the roof or so?

The models are very nice now.

First of all: The models are now fantastic!

I personally really like the "excessive" use of playercolor because it adds to comical look the workers and carriers also have. For me, it just fits somehow.

Thanks for all of your comments!

In consideration of what you have voiced and what I have done with previous models like the metal works and shipyard, I have decided to put player color on the end bars on the roofs and make them a little larger. I'll post an image soon.

Here is the tavern with a couple treatments we could use. I've toned down the white paint to more of a weathered look.

a) 1 b) 2

"a" with plain end brackets. "b" with axe-shaped end brackets.

What do you think?

If you think about leaving only those axe-shaped ends, consider to make the rest (white lines?) a bit more darker.

I know that I can used to this colors, but for me it is too distinctive.

Of course all the work is great face-smile.png
