## Uploading a new add-on ¶

### You'll need a different password ¶

In order to upload a new add-on you have to add a new password, the password for this website is not sufficient. [Set a password here](https://www.widelands.org/ggz/changepw). ¶

### Maps ¶

If you just want to provide a single map as an add-on you can upload it directly in the map editor by using the menu entry "Publish Map Online" in the main menu. If
you have created several maps and want to crbundlea them to a map-set you'll have to use the add-ons manager. ¶

### Upload an add-on in the add-on manager ¶

To upload anything else than a single map you have to use the "Development" tab in the add-on manager. ¶

## Creating add-ons ¶

Please refer to to the [documentation](https://www.widelands.org/ggz/changepw). For a beginner it might be easy to adjust a
n smallready existing add-on to your liking. Installed add-ons can be found in the subfolder "addons" where [maps savegames and replays are located](https://www.widelands.org/wiki/Technical%20FAQ/#where-are-my-maps-and-savegames-stored)
