## General ¶

Since Widelands version 1.1 the game has an add-on manager where one can provide his own add-on to other players. Add-ons can be accessed and installed via the button in the main menu. ¶

Add-ons are splitted into categories. By default all add-ons are shown in the add-ons manager. They c

## Uploading a new add-on ¶

### You'll need a different password ¶

In order to upload a new add-on you have to add a new password, the password for this website is not sufficient. [Set a password here](https://www.widelands.org/ggz/changepw). ¶

### Maps ¶
¶
If you just want to provide a single map as an add-on you can upload it directly in the map editor by using the menu entry "Publish Map Online" in the main menu. If have created several maps and want to create a map-set you'll have to use the add-ons manager. ¶

### Upload an add-on in the add-on manager ¶

To upload anything else than a single map you have to use the "Development" tab in the add-on manager. ¶
