Hi, i am pretty new here.

I love endless huge maps in which i can spend a life to conquer, after there is non similar map here i decided to make one my own. Its a fully handmade 512 x 512 for up to 16 players. And while the map never looks the same i balanced the map so everybody starts with some kind of the same situation. As it took me above 12 h, why not share my work for people like me who play this style. (because there is nothing like that map to download here)

In Map-editor there is the function upload map, and once i click it, i need to Login. I made an account, and as you see me here, it worked. ^^ But after logging in from the map-editor it says:

"Login Error Expected end of stream, received:

[OK]"

so, what am i doing wrong? I have downloaded version 1.2.1

Hi DarkSlaughter and welcome to the forum face-smile.png

It's a known bug that sometimes (especially on Windows) error messages are truncated or do not appear.
According to the server log, the error is

ERROR: WL Protocol Exception: User DarkSlaughter did not set an online gaming password

Please go to https://www.widelands.org/ggz/changepw and set a password, then use this to log in from the game.
Your website login is used only for the website here; for logins from the game (for multiplayer and add-ons) the separate Online Gaming Password is used for security reasons.

Okay that should have worked. Thank you

What time might it take until it is visible?
Is there a test before the map has to run through? (so nobody uploads x times empty maps etc..)

Thank you for your quick reply.

All uploaded add-ons have to be manually checked by a moderator. I'm generally the only one who does this, so it's usually on the order of anywhere from a few minutes to next day, depending on how soon I see the notification e-mail face-smile.png
Frequent add-on contributors are whitelisted so when they upload updates to their add-ons these are automatically trusted; new add-ons always need to be processed manually though.

My verification process for maps is to look it over very briefly in the editor, and if the add-on contains any other files I take a closer look at those (especially Lua code).
I marked your add-on as verified now (and also put it up for translation), looks good face-smile.png
